Terms & conditions
Last updated: 8 June 2026
Welcome to U Player Performance ("UPP", "we", "us", or "our"). These terms and conditions govern your use of our website uplayerperformance.co.uk and your booking of any coaching sessions or services we offer.
By using our website or booking a session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use our website or book our services.
1.About us
U Player Performance is a UK-based youth football coaching service. We offer 1-to-1, 2-to-1, and group coaching for players aged 5–14.
You can contact us at [email protected] for any questions about these terms or our services.
2.Who can book
- To book a session, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into a contract on behalf of yourself or the player attending.
- Where the player is a minor, the parent or legal guardian must complete the booking and remains responsible for the player throughout.
- By booking, you confirm that all information provided (including details about the player) is accurate and complete.
3.Booking and payment
All bookings are made through our online booking system. To secure your session, payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Prices shown on our website are in pounds sterling (£) and inclusive of any applicable taxes.
- We reserve the right to update our pricing from time to time. Any change will not affect bookings already confirmed.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store your full card details.
- Once payment is taken and a booking confirmation has been sent to you by email, a contract for the relevant service is formed between you and UPP.
4.Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds
Cancelling a session
- You may cancel or reschedule a session free of charge if you give us at least 24 hours' notice before the session start time.
- Cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours of the session may not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling at our discretion.
- To cancel or reschedule, email us at [email protected] or use the link in your booking confirmation.
Cancellations by us
Occasionally we may need to cancel or move a session — for example, due to weather, injury, or unforeseen circumstances. If that happens, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer you a choice between rescheduling at no extra cost or receiving a full refund.
Your statutory right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have 14 days from the day of booking to cancel a service contract for a full refund. However, if you ask us to begin providing the service (e.g. attending your first session) during this 14-day period, you may lose this right or be charged for the portion of the service already received.
5.What we provide
- Sessions are delivered by qualified UPP coaches at the locations and times set out in your booking confirmation.
- We provide all coaching equipment necessary for the session (balls, cones, bibs, etc.).
- While we always strive to deliver high-quality coaching, we don't guarantee specific results, improvements, or outcomes for any individual player.
6.What you agree to
By booking and attending a session, you agree to:
- Arrive on time, dressed appropriately for football training, with suitable footwear (boots or trainers), shin pads, and a water bottle.
- Disclose any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or other information relevant to safe participation — for both yourself and the player attending.
- Treat coaches, other players, and parents with respect at all times.
- Supervise minors before and after the session unless we have specifically agreed otherwise in writing.
- Follow any reasonable instructions given by our coaches during the session.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove from a session, anyone whose behaviour is unsafe, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate, without refund.
7.Health, safety and risk
- Football is a physical activity and carries inherent risks of injury. By participating, you accept this risk.
- You are responsible for ensuring that any player attending is medically fit to participate in physical activity.
- If we have safeguarding concerns about a player's welfare, we may take appropriate action, including contacting relevant authorities.
- Coaches hold relevant qualifications and are DBS-checked where required.
8.Photography and media
From time to time, we may take photographs or videos during sessions for promotional purposes (e.g. our website, social media). We will always seek prior consent from parents or guardians before using any media featuring a minor. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.
9.Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- Anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising from a single session shall not exceed the price paid for that session.
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or business losses, or for loss caused by events outside of our reasonable control.
10.Website use
- You may use our website for personal, lawful purposes only.
- You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, introduce malware, or otherwise interfere with the operation of our site.
- All content on the site — including text, images, logos, and code — is owned by or licensed to UPP. You may not copy or reuse it without our prior written consent.
11.Privacy and data
How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
12.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of the page will always reflect the most recent version. Your continued use of our services after any change means you accept the updated terms.
13.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
